Deretan pot bunga yang sebelum badai tertata rapi dan indah di luar Macau airport siap menyambut serta mengucapkan selamat jalan kepada penumpang kini masih berserakan.
Melihat genangan bagaikan air bah dan angin yang terus menggulung membuat perasaan saya muram, semuram langit mendung di selimuti raungan angin seperti saat ini. Tak tahu kapan badai akan berlalu sehingga bisa kembali ke tanah air tercinta.
Jika hidup bagaikan di negeri dongeng, ingin rasanya melompat menembus ruang serta waktu dan langit langsung cerah seakan tak pernah ada cobaan seberat ini. Namun tiba-tiba teringat obrolan singkat saya dengan mbak Patsy setelah mendarat dengan aman di Kuala Lumpur.
“Mbak Pats, kisah kita terjebak typhoon Wipha kalau di tulis jadi novel bisa berjilid-jilid saking banyaknya life lesson yang kita dapat.” Saya tertawa kecil.
“Iya, termasuk anak mbak Sarah ikut belajar tentang kehidupan.”Mbak Patsy ikut tertawa.
Life is a book and there are parts of life that are terrible that I can’t skip. Why ? Oh well, because life doesn’t work that way.
I obliged to read every line and encounter every situations. It won’t all be enjoyable, some chapters will leave me in tears for days, while others will fill me with joy for just as long.
There’ll be parts I’d rather not read and moments I want the pages to continue. Yet, I must keep going. It’s the tales of highs and lows that keep the world spinning. I’ll live mine fully without missing out on a single page.
